Although I completed my NaNoWriMo challenge on day fourteen with 51,056 words, I found I couldn’t just stop writing, even though I had other things to be getting on with. So I didn’t stop. I kept writing, deciding that while I was in the mood it would be a good idea to outline books two and three of my trilogy.

In the end, I ‘wrote’ the grand total of 75,000 words for NaNoWriMo (2015):

My original goal was to rewrite all three books, but other commitments made this impractical so I didn’t attempt it. Rewriting the first and outlining the remaining two was my second option and I’m pleased with the results. The story came out in the right order (instead of me missing bits out which has happened before), and I even managed to experience a couple of very important ‘lightbulb moments.’ Story elements that have been bugging me for ages resolved themselves (in a sort of ‘that was so obvious why didn’t I see it before?’ sort of way), so overall I am very pleased with my ‘entry’ for Nanowrimo (2015)
